Bored Panda recently connected with Jason and his wife, a charming couple hailing from East Tennessee, to uncover the heartwarming story of Squid. Squid, a rescue cat, stole their hearts when he was just a tiny ball of fur. Jason’s wife shared, “My husband’s colleague stumbled upon three abandoned kittens without a mother in sight. The moment we laid eyes on Squid in the photos, we knew he was meant to be a part of our family. At just three weeks old, we had to step in and bottle-feed him to ensure his well-being.”

Since the beginning, Squid has been captivating everyone with his humorous facial expressions. His owners mention that he has always had those adorable little eyebrows. Fortunately, after being adopted into a loving home, Squid has grown into a handsome big boy. His owners revealed that he is now 4 years old, born in October.

In this day and age, Squid seems to think he runs the show around the house, complete with his own established daily schedule. According to Jason’s wife, he rises at 5:30 in the morning alongside his mom, eager for breakfast. Throughout the day, he splits his time between snoozing and frolicking with his canine sibling while his humans are busy working. As soon as their work day ends, Squid insists on TV time on the couch with the family. By 8 pm, he starts making his way to the bedroom, knowing it’s time for bed. And once there, he snuggles under the blanket with both his human companions for the night.
