When the rescue team reached a cat colony in Prince George’s County, Maryland, they discovered a pair of tiny kittens snuggled closely together, showing they were inseparable companions.

A kind individual stepped in to help the cats in his neighborhood by rescuing Violet and Panda, along with their sister Eve, from a TNR project just in time. These adorable kitties were soon found to have MPS, a genetic condition known as feline mucopolysaccharidosis, which impacts their growth and results in special needs like dwarfism.
Alley Cat Rescue provided them with a new lease on life, as they would have struggled to survive as community cats without proper care. Violet and Panda became inseparable from the start, always sticking together under furniture and venturing out in pairs.
Elaine, a kind-hearted volunteer, brought them to her home with the intention of caring for them until they were healthy and ready to be adopted by a loving family who would embrace cats with unique needs. “These little ones have the tiny bodies of 10-day-old kittens, so they are incredibly delicate and still growing,” Elaine shared with Love Meow.
Elaine observed that despite not having the typical behaviors of meowing, climbing, or jumping, Violet and Panda still manage to waddle or scoot around with happiness. They have a unique way of playing and enjoy meals that seem larger than what a cat their size would eat. Their bond is truly remarkable and lovely to witness, as they share a deep affection for one another and are inseparable. If one of them goes missing, they will search until they are reunited, showing a strong connection between the two.
Elaine noticed that the other four cats and two dogs in the house are often overlooked, except when Violet decides to give a sassy hiss every now and then. Despite their special needs, the two kitties exude abundant personality and attitude.
Elaine loves spending time with her furry companions, who enjoy cuddling up in her lap and drifting off to sleep. They particularly love being held close and showered with affection, just like a precious little baby.
According to Elaine, her pets are not just cute, but they are also incredibly endearing and delightful little creatures.

Saved kittens with dwarfism are given a fresh start at life, as shown in a heartwarming video. Whenever Panda receives affection from their caregiver, Violet eagerly joins in to ensure she doesn’t miss out on the love and cuddles.
Elaine soon discovered that after a few weeks of fostering, the kittens had already settled in as if they belonged there. It wasn’t just a temporary stay with the family, but it seemed like they had found their permanent place to call home. It was almost as if the kittens had known all along that they had found their forever family.
