It was a lengthy process for a family to rescue a stray cat they had bonded with. After finally bringing her in, they were surprised to find that they had actually saved eight feline friends. Introducing Kittypants and her seven adorable nanocheetahs.
Courtesy of Paul and Heather from Kittypocalypse Vancouver, the story of Kittypants began in September when she showed up in someone’s yard. “She was discovered by a resident in East Vancouver. They first saw her as a kitten and fed her, but she vanished for a while before reappearing pregnant as a grown kitty,” Heather, Kittypants’ foster mom, shared with Love Meow. Through persistence and affection, Kittypants gradually opened up to her human companion and eventually welcomed her assistance.
Paul and Heather from Kittypocalypse Vancouver shared on their social media that they always made sure to provide food for a pregnant cat they named Kittypants. Despite being a bit of a challenge to catch, they eventually succeeded in trapping her near Trout Lake in East Vancouver. They decided to hand her over to the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association for the proper care she needed.
Kittypants was in luck, as she was pregnant and soon gave birth to seven adorable kittens while under the care of a VOKRA foster.
Paul and Heather from Kittypocalypse in Vancouver shared that they had to take in a mama cat and her kittens when their original foster had to leave town. They received the kittens when they were just 10 days old, and they were so small that their eyes were barely open. Heather mentioned to Love Meow how the mama cat was initially shy, but within a couple of hours she came out of her carrier and started purring. By the evening, she was completely comfortable and even started showering her foster parents with affectionate headbonks and purrs. Jean, one of the kittens, then took her turn on the scale for a check-up.
Meet the adorable fur babies from Kittypocalypse Vancouver, lovingly cared for by Paul and Heather. One of them, named Chino, took his time, a whole 12 days, to finally open his eyes. He was a bit nervous at first in his new surroundings, but after settling in, he quickly warmed up to his new human friends.
Now, Chino is a little attention seeker who craves affection and loves to play. He often inserts himself between his humans and the other kittens, as if to say, “Hey, don’t forget about me! I want cuddles!” Alongside Chino, there are also Jean, Pantaloon, Breeches, Britches, Bloomer, Corduroy, and they make up a playful and lovable gang of furry companions.
Thank you to Paul and Heather at Kittypocalypse in Vancouver for the update! As of May 13, the kittens have hit the one-month mark and are doing great. Heather mentioned that five out of the seven little ones have already begun eating wet food, so their nursing days may soon be coming to an end. Looks like these kittens are keeping their humans busy and entertained!
Paul and Heather, our amazing fosters at Kittypocalypse Vancouver, are doing a fantastic job taking care of the kittens. The little troublemakers are at that age where they are full of energy and constantly tearing around. The family of cats is thriving and they all have very healthy appetites!
Kittypants, the mother cat, has her paws full trying to keep up with feeding seven hungry little bundles of fur. Her appetite has soared, and she now devours three large cans of food every day to make sure her brood is well-fed.
Thanks to Paul and Heather at Kittypocalypse Vancouver, these adorable furry friends will be up for adoption when they reach the right size. Having recently outgrown their box, they are now busy exploring every nook and cranny of their new home.
Paul and Heather from Kittypocalypse Vancouver are excited to introduce Kittypants, a loving mama cat, who they believe will find her forever home soon. Pantaloon is cuddled up next to her, while Chino is nestled in the background.
