Fondly known as the “friendly ghost” by her loving owners, Yuki is a rescue cat who stands out for her exceptional beauty. It’s not uncommon to come across cats that are up for adoption and possess extraordinary looks, and Yuki is the perfect illustration of this. Can you share the story of how Yuki joined your family? At first, I never thought of having another cat since I already had Sammy. However, my mother suggested getting a companion for Sammy to keep her company when no one is around. That’s how we ended up adopting Yuki from a relative who was putting their cats up for adoption.
How did Yuki get her name? Well, after we welcomed Yuki into our home, we needed to come up with a name for her. Since my boyfriend and I are both fans of anime and Japanese culture, we decided on Yuki, which means snow in Japanese. We chose this name after the Yuki-onna, a Japanese spirit or ghost, because it sounded fitting for our white and fluffy new family member.
Could you tell me about your kitty’s traits and hobbies? My feline friend possesses a delightful personality and quickly formed close bonds with her sister and the household members. Even when visiting the vet, she exhibits great bravery and never shows any signs of anxiety. Her favorite leisure activity is playing with paper balls, which she enjoys for extended periods. Additionally, she enjoys lounging on her cushioned seat by the window and basking in the sunshine during sunny days. Does Yuki live with any cute pets such as dogs or cats? Yes, she has a three-year-old sister named Sammy. Do you know any distinct quality or feature of Yuki that you would like to mention? Yuki is an individual with quite a sense of humor. It’s always fun to spend time with her because she brings laughter and excitement. Even though Yuki sometimes engages in prohibited activities, it’s challenging to be angry with her due to her amusing conduct.
