In the beginning of January, a kind-hearted individual heard the sound of meowing coming from a structure. They decided to investigate and were shocked to discover a group of kittens gathered together in a trash bin.
Amber from Kitty Fostering Oz shared a heartwarming story about four tiny kittens who were found abandoned and crying for their mom. The kind person who discovered them reached out to Cheltenham Cat Rescue for help in Melbourne, Australia.
The kittens were in bad shape – scruffy, skinny, and clearly in need of some TLC. Amber, a dedicated foster volunteer, took them in and showered them with love and care. Despite their fear and confusion, the siblings stuck together and supported each other as they settled into their new temporary home.
Amber, a foster mom for kittens in Australia under the handle @kitty_fostering_oz, described the rowdy antics of a calico kitten with a broken paw. The furry troublemaker was the noisiest of the bunch, demanding attention as Amber served up their first meal at her place. After a hearty meal, the kittens curled up together for a snooze, their bellies full and content. They caught up on much-needed rest that day, napping peacefully. “It didn’t take long for them to warm up to us,” Amber mentioned, noting how they started purring and enjoying cuddle sessions within just a day of arriving at their temporary home.
Amber from @kitty_fostering_oz shares a heartwarming story about two inseparable brothers, Ezra and Deja, and their close bond with their sisters Karma and Shea. The kittens love to snuggle together, finding comfort in each other’s company. To help the kitties with grooming, Amber uses a toothbrush to gently brush them, mimicking a mother cat’s care.
Amber from Kitty Fostering Oz shared a heartwarming update on little Karma, who had a wonky paw when she first came in. The vet stepped in and set her up with a splint, which she’ll have on for a little while. Despite this, Karma isn’t fazed one bit – she’s still her playful, curious self, roaming around her space without a care in the world.

Rescued from a rubbish bin, these adorable kittens are now flourishing in the care of foster parents. Little Shea, the smallest of the litter, was significantly lighter than her siblings at first, but she’s quickly gaining weight and catching up. While the two brothers are already chowing down from their dishes, the sisters are still happily nursing from their bottle during meal times. Check out their progress in this heartwarming video!
Amber from @kitty_fostering_oz heard the loud cries of the kittens and knew they needed to be rescued. Now, instead of crying for nourishment and affection, all you can hear is the sound of their content purrs filling the room as they cozy up in their plush, toasty bed.
Amber from @kitty_fostering_oz shared that the kittens in her care are adorable little beings with unique personalities. Despite their rough start in life, they have a deep love for humans and are very affectionate. They enjoy snuggling with each other, showing just how strong their bond as brothers is.
