Julia Davis recently settled into a lovely new home in Birmingham, Alabama, only to discover an unexpected guest residing in the garden chicken coop. To her surprise, she found a cat left behind by the previous owners. Despite already having a cat and dog of her own, Julia took it upon herself to care for this abandoned feline, whom she named Coop after the chicken coop he called home. Soon after, another feral cat named Roof joined the mix, often seen keeping Coop company in his wooden abode.
As if that wasn’t enough, Julia stumbled upon two tiny kittens hiding under the chicken coop. One of them, later named Sadie, found a loving home with Julia’s parents, while the other, CJ (Coop Jr.), stayed with Julia and has since grown into a healthy cat. This heartwarming experience inspired Julia to establish ‘Coop Kitties’, a foster home for rescue cats and kittens. Through the support of her online community and a GoFundMe page initially set up for Coop’s vet bills, Julia now helps many rescue cats find their forever families, giving them a second chance at a happy life.

Davis stumbled upon a gorgeous white feline residing on her land.
Before long, she discovered that the kitty actually belonged to the former residents of the house who had left him behind when they moved out.
Julia took care of the kitty and was ready to shell out some serious cash for his medical needs. To raise funds, she decided to set up a GoFundMe campaign.
