A woman in San Francisco came across a pregnant cat in her backyard who was in need of some assistance. The adorable tuxedo cat was on the lookout for a secure location to give birth to her kittens.
A lady had a cat that she couldn’t keep because of her rental policy. She got in touch with Mini Cat Town, a rescue group in San Jose, California, and asked if they could help. The cat, who was pregnant, was brought to them the same night they returned from their vacation. Mini Cat Town was happy to give her a safe place to have her kittens. Thoa Bui from Mini Cat Town told Love Meow about their new resident, a lovely tuxedo cat they named Chai Latte Soy, or simply Chai.

Chai welcomed her six adorable kittens into the world ten days after her arrival, finding solace in the warmth and safety of her new home.
At the same time, two orphaned kittens were discovered in a kind stranger’s backyard at only an hour old. Thankfully, Nine Lives Rescue in Redwood City came to their rescue, as the fragile babies needed nothing more than the tender care of a nurturing mother.
The kittens were brought to Mini Cat Town because they had a mother cat who was nursing and could potentially help care for them. Thoa shared with Love Meow how quickly the mother cat, Chai, accepted the kittens. Upon being introduced to them, Chai sniffed them, took a moment to pause, and then immediately started licking them. Before long, the kittens were nursing and being cared for by their new surrogate mother.

Mama Chai cherished each and every one of her little ones, especially the new ones, tending to them with endless love and care.
“She’s truly devoted to them, always one step ahead and patient beyond belief.”

Even though they tried their hardest, one of the smallest kittens and one of the orphaned ones couldn’t make it. Mama cat didn’t give up and kept looking after her remaining six babies with the support of her foster family.
When Chai isn’t busy feeding or grooming her little ones, she’s snuggling with them, showering them with all the affection they need to grow strong and healthy.

The little felines were maturing rapidly, their playful and daring nature shining through more with each passing day.
They began to venture beyond their confines, strengthening their muscles in anticipation of even more mischievous antics in the upcoming days.

The residents of Mini Cat Town ensure that Mama Chai is well-fed and hydrated. They shower her with attention and assist with caring for her kittens whenever they can.
“It’s milk bar time at 5 o’clock! These little helpers have been busy all day, catering to Mama Chai and her kittens.”
