An adorable little stray kitty sprinted towards a couple when they stumbled upon her all by herself in a vast open field.
Fielda.thefieldcat shared the heartwarming story of Karianna and her partner, who came across a small kitten frolicking in an open field. Upon spotting the kitten, they couldn’t resist stopping to see her up close. To their surprise, the tiny feline dashed towards them with remarkable speed, her aim clear – she wanted their attention and company.
Observing her emaciated and unkempt appearance, the couple realized that she was a stray in need of care. Unable to locate her mother or any siblings nearby, they decided to take matters into their own hands. Bringing her into their car, the pair watched as the tabby kitten settled comfortably in Karianna’s arms. It was as though the kitten instinctively recognized that she was finally in safe hands.
After giving her a good bath, they decided to give her the name Fielda in honor of where she was discovered. Karianna described her as affectionate right from the beginning, showing no signs of timidity or fear. The following day, they took her to the vet for a check-up.
The vet estimated that Fielda was about six weeks old, and noted that she had fleas, ear mites, and a slight case of ringworm.

After a few weeks of treatment, the ringworm finally vanished, and the resilient tabby girl was overjoyed to have a cozy home, a soft bed to nap in, and caring humans to shower her with love. The couple already had another cat named Leon, who was a year and a half older. They made sure to keep the two kitties apart until Fielda was given the all-clear to meet her new feline companion.
“Fielda instantly adored Leon, although it took him a little while to warm up to her,” Karianna shared with Love Meow. The energetic kitten was always finding ways to play with Leon, whether it was a game of tag or hide and seek. Fielda was on a mission to befriend Leon and refused to give up until he finally caved in.
