A lady found a stray kitten and witnessed a remarkable transformation in him. Little did she know, this kitten would end up completely changing her life for the better.

In Milwaukee, WI, animal rescuer and foster parent Emilie had her life transformed by a small preemie kitten.
She found herself taking care of a litter of premature kittens after their feral mother abandoned them four months ago. Despite her dedicated care, only one of the kittens managed to survive.
This little survivor was incredibly tiny and fragile, but he fought valiantly to stay alive.
Emilie, known as @emiliexfosters, dedicated herself to giving non-stop intensive care to the little kitten. Making sure he was fed (through tube-feeding) and kept snug in a warm incubator was her top priority.
Each time she approached the incubator to feed the kitten, she was greeted by the loud meows that echoed from the tiny creature. Emilie shared with Love Meow, “Every time I opened the incubator, there he was, screaming for food.”
Emilie’s latest update on Instagram shows that after a week of dedicated care, the kitten finally had the strength to suckle from a bottle. They decided to name the little fighter Fievel, after the famous mouse character from An American Tail. Fievel sported a unique silver grey coat, known as a fever coat, with adorable pinkish white mittens on each paw. It was suggested that Fievel’s mother may have experienced a fever or high stress levels during pregnancy, resulting in the unusual coloration that would eventually fade away.
Emilie’s tweet highlighted how Fievel’s white pigmentation and root darkening only appeared when he was three weeks old. Despite facing developmental delays, he pushed forward and achieved many milestones. Once he learned to walk, Fievel eagerly embarked on adventures. Born prematurely, Fievel continually defied the odds stacked against him.
Emilie @emiliexfosters shared how Fievel, a foster kitten, was quick to gather other kittens for some mischief during socialization time. With boundless energy, he bounced around the house in every direction, almost as if he had springs for feet. Fievel’s confident and bold personality shone through as he took it upon himself to show the younger kittens how to be brave, confidently zooming through the house like he was the king of the castle.
Emilie, who goes by @emiliexfosters on social media, shared a heartwarming story about a foster cat named Persephone who took in a little kitten named Fievel and cared for him as if he were her own. Persephone showered Fievel with love and attention, even more so than she did for her own kittens.
According to Emilie, Persephone seemed to have a special bond with Fievel and treated him with extra care because she sensed his fragility.
Emilie @emiliexfosters noticed that as Fievel continued to grow, his tuxedo markings became more noticeable. From being a cute silver grey kitten, Fievel evolved into a stunning black cat with four white paws and his distinctive mustache marking at just four months old.
Emilie is absolutely amazed by how much he has changed his appearance. He’s turning into a very sophisticated gentleman. The stunning tuxedo cat always greets Emilie with loud purrs, looks for her when she’s not around, and eagerly responds to his name whenever she calls him.
Emilie shared with Love Meow that a few weeks back, her brother was initially planning to adopt the cat she was fostering. However, her brother’s cat proved to be too overwhelming for the new feline. After witnessing how much her furry friends adore him and how he assists them, Emilie decided to keep him for good.
