Supamas expressed her concern about her cat’s infection and sought advice from her mother. She recommended using turmeric, an Indian spice known for its medicinal properties in treating infections. Supamas shared the story of how her cat Ka-Pwong had ringworm, and despite trying various treatments without success, her mother’s suggestion of turmeric proved to be effective. Initially applied directly to the ringworm, they eventually decided to cover the whole body as a preventive measure against future fungal infections.

After the Indian spice was applied to Cupwong’s unique white fur, it quickly transformed into a bright yellow color. Unfortunately, the challenge arose when trying to wash off the vibrant hue, as it seemed impossible to remove. With her entire body covered in turmeric to prevent the infection from spreading, the unfortunate feline took on the appearance of a yellow creature, resembling Pikachu from the popular animated series Pokemon. The owner shared, “My cat may not even realize it’s yellow now. Despite the color change, she remains cheerful and continues to eat heartily as always.”

The owner of the cat, Ka-Pwong, shared that the Indian spice treatment has been effective in treating the infection. It has helped with reducing itching and preventing the cat from licking the wound area. However, it is important to seek advice from a vet before continuing with the treatment. Supamas is optimistic that Ka-Pwong’s fur will return to its original color in three months and that the fungus will be completely cured. She is hopeful that her cat will eventually become white again.
