A calico feline beamed with joy upon discovering a secure haven for her litter of six adorable kittens.
Jen Marder, a dedicated volunteer from Wrenn Rescues, recently took in a stray cat and her six tiny kittens who were discovered outside in South Los Angeles. The kittens were only two days old and required immediate foster care. When they arrived at Jen’s home, the cat mom showed instant affection, craving attention and love from Jen. She was very vocal and made it clear that she wanted to be pampered, purring contently as she curled up in Jen’s arms.
A cozy nest was created for the family, ensuring that the cat mom felt secure as she cared for her kittens. The endearing calico cat kneaded on her soft bed while her tiny babies nursed eagerly.
Jen Marder, who goes by @jenfosterskittens on social media, shared a heartwarming story of a calico mom cat named Cleopatra or Cleo. Cleo was always eager for attention and affection every time her foster mom entered the room. According to Jen, Cleo simply craved a warm lap to snuggle in and all the pets and cuddles she could get.
Whenever Jen went to check on the kittens, Cleo would compete for her attention by rubbing against her. It was clear that Cleo not only adored people but was also an exceptional mother to her kittens.
