Natalie, an 8-year-old cat with unique requirements, arrived at the shelter seeking a loving home. The shelter environment was overwhelming for her, especially after losing her long-time companion.
The Super Hero’s Animal Hydrocephalus Society recently took in a distressed kitty named Natalie, who was surrendered to a shelter in Texas following her owner’s passing. Natalie, who was born with a cleft lip and Hydrocephalus, started showing signs of stress in her new environment, despite appearing healthy overall with only mild neurological symptoms such as walking in circles at times.
Recognizing that Natalie needed a loving home, the shelter contacted Lisa, the founder of SHAHS, to help find her a forever home. Lisa immediately jumped into action, conducting a search for the perfect family for Natalie, knowing it wouldn’t be an easy task but remaining optimistic that the right fit was out there.
The Animal Hydrocephalus Society for Super Heroes is searching for a loving family for Natalie, a special needs cat who requires a quiet home and understanding of her condition. Lisa, a member of the society, mentioned that a family experienced in caring for neurological disorders would be ideal for Natalie, especially with her unique litter box habits and potential medical emergencies. The society is looking for a forever home for Natalie where she will receive the necessary care and attention she deserves.
The Animal Hydrocephalus Society for Super Hero Animals finally found a perfect match after two months of searching – a couple from Alabama named Matt and Peggy. The rescue exclaimed, “Matt and Peggy have completely fallen in love with Natalie!” This couple has a history of adopting furry friends with special needs, making them the ideal family for Natalie. The journey to her new home was filled with excitement and a few comical mishaps along the way.
The Animal Hydrocephalus Society for Super Hero Animals (AHSSHA) stepped in to assist when volunteers from Delta Animal Rescue Transport (DART) were unable to secure a flight for sweet Natalie from Texas to Alabama due to bad weather and limited availability. AHSSHA generously offered their own airline miles to ensure that Natalie would have a guaranteed seat on a flight out of either San Antonio or Houston airport. The dedication and kindness of both DART and AHSSHA volunteers exemplify their commitment to helping animals in need, going above and beyond to ensure a safe and smooth journey for furry friends like Natalie.
The Animal Hydrocephalus Society’s superhero, Natalie, has found her perfect forever home with Matt and Peggy at nearly midnight Eastern time. She now lives happily with all her furry siblings who absolutely adore her, as announced by the rescue organization.
Once Natalie got comfortable in her new surroundings, she wasted no time in snuggling up to Matt for some much-needed love and care.
The Animal Hydrocephalus Society for Super Hero Pets is a group where Natalie, a loving companion, sticks close to her human family at all times. Whether it’s nap time or cuddle time, she enjoys being by her loved ones’ side.
