Not long ago, Donna, a TNR enthusiast and caretaker of feral cats in Ohio, was doing her rounds when she came across a tiny kitten hiding on a window sill all by herself.
“I looked up and saw this scared little kitty trembling with fear, all alone on that ledge. She had been abandoned at the feral cat colony I look after,” Donna told Love Meow.
Since she didn’t have a carrier handy, Donna quickly improvised by emptying out a big container she normally kept cat food in from her car.

Donna, from the feral cat colony, discovered a scared kitten crouching on the windowsill. With gentle ease, she lifted the tiny creature and was met with the comforting sound of purring as soon as she made contact. Despite the initial timidity, the kitten, named NeNe, instinctively purred upon realizing she was in caring hands. Donna carefully placed NeNe in a makeshift carrier and took her to the vet clinic for proper care.

NeNe happily purred as she received pets from her rescuer, Donna of the feral cat colony. Upon learning from neighbors that NeNe had a brother in need of help, Donna discovered the poor conditions they were living in an abandoned house. Without hesitation, she returned to save the second kitten and bring him to safety as well.

Donna didn’t hesitate to also save her cat brother when she went back. She shared the heartwarming reunion on her social media page @feralcatcolony. “Seeing them together again was truly heartwarming. Their bond is so genuine and touching,” Donna shared with Love Meow.

The kittens were in rough shape – covered in fleas, malnourished, and in need of medical care. “After some nourishing food, a visit to the vet for a checkup, deworming, and flea treatment, they were back to their healthy selves. Despite their tough start, they have left it all in the past now.”

NeNe and Nico were finally back together at their foster home. Nico, the fluffy feline brother, was surprisingly lighter than NeNe by almost a pound. Nevertheless, he embraced the role of the big brother, always keeping an eye out for his sister. Don’t miss their heartwarming journey in this captivating video!

Two adorable kittens, a brother and sister, were featured in a heartwarming video on YouTube. NeNe was struggling to use the litter box until her brother Nico came to the rescue. Despite being just 1.7 pounds, Nico quickly figured out what to do and taught NeNe how to use the litter box too. It’s a beautiful example of sibling support and learning from each other.

Nico, the sibling of NeNe, quickly transitioned from their playpen to a larger space provided by @feralcatcolony. In their new, more spacious home, the brother and sister duo had ample space to play, often seen chasing each other around and behaving like the energetic kittens they were meant to be.

“They had so much fun exploring their new surroundings and playing with all the toys. Nico was putting on some weight but still lagged behind his sister by a pound. He was a strong competitor and could definitely hold his own,” Donna remarked.

NeNe, the sibling to Donna from @feralcatcolony, loves to roughhouse with her sister but becomes a purring ball of fluff at the slightest touch, exuding pure happiness. Recently, NeNe and Nico welcomed another foster kitten, Willow, into their little family, with Nico taking on the role of peacemaker and teacher, showing the girls how to play and coexist harmoniously.
