Introducing Saul, affectionately known as Grumpy Cat 2.0, a feline who was discovered wandering the streets of London in a sorry state, injured and in need of assistance. Rescued by the RSPCA, Saul was taken to the Putney Animal Hospital for care.
Caroline Allen, the RSPCA’s London veterinary director, described Saul as being in a pitiful condition, with discharge from his eyes and nose, and injuries to his jaw, teeth, and eye. Despite his constant scowl, Saul’s true nature of being sweet and friendly emerged as he received treatment and began to heal.
Although it remains unclear whether Saul’s grumpy expression is a result of his past traumas or a natural feature, the staff at the hospital have fallen in love with his affectionate personality. Despite his outward appearance, Saul is a cuddly cat who craves attention and affection.
The staff are confident that Saul will find a loving forever home once he is fully recovered. They believe that someone will be captivated by Saul’s unique charm, dubbing him as the potential successor to the famous Grumpy Cat. With his sweet nature and fluffy appearance, Saul is sure to steal the hearts of many.
The poor thing was discovered wandering the busy streets of London, injured and desperately in need of assistance.
“He appeared to be in a quite pitiful condition, with liquid oozing from his eyes and nose, looking extremely unwell.”
“We suspect he was in a car accident, as we discovered injuries to his jaw, teeth, and one eye.”
Even though Saul always appears to be frowning, in reality, he is kind and approachable.
“He is making excellent progress in his recovery from his injuries, and we are optimistic that he will be ready to transition to our cattery in Southall soon, where he can start the search for his forever home.”
Hospital staff are unsure whether Saul’s perpetually grumpy expression stems from previous injuries or if it’s just his natural demeanor.
Everyone is thrilled to hear that Saul is making a speedy recovery.
