Adorable Kittens Seek Shelter in Family’s Yard Just in Time for Winter

Kittens Wandered Up to Family's Yard and Found Help Just in Time Before the Cold Winter

Two cute little kittens appeared in a family’s backyard and were lucky enough to receive assistance just before the chilly winter set in.

In Montreal, Canada, a compassionate woman came across a set of motherless kittens lingering outside her house. Despite her efforts to locate any other kittens or their mother, she was unable to find any. As evening approached and the two little ones remained alone and uncared for, the woman took it upon herself to intervene and provide assistance.

At Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a kind-hearted woman created a cozy shelter for two abandoned kittens. She provided them with food and water, hoping their mother would return. Despite her efforts, the mother never came back. The following day, she found the kittens snuggled together on the blanket, still motherless and alone. No one in the neighborhood claimed them, confirming they had been abandoned.

After finding them outside, the homeowner quickly brought the kittens indoors. She contacted the Chatons Orphelins Montréal rescue for assistance.
“The kind lady made sure the kittens were safe, fed, and warm until we were able to take them in,” Celine Crom from Chatons Orphelins Montréal told Love Meow.

The two little orphaned kittens, named Sirius and Celestin by their caretakers at Chatons Orphelins Montréal, were overjoyed to feel loved and looked after. Whenever they were petted, they both purred happily in unison.
Following a visit to the veterinarian, the kittens began a new chapter in their lives as indoor cats in the care of a loving foster family. “At first, the kittens were a little timid, but they soon became curious and eager to play,” mentioned Celine.

“Our foster volunteers, Manon and Anais, assisted in successfully weaning the kittens.”
Being only six weeks old, the kittens were too young to survive outside, especially in the cold Canadian winter. Thankfully, they were rescued in time and won’t have to face such hardships.

The two brothers have been joined at the hip ever since they arrived at their new home. They stick together like glue and never let each other out of their sight. Their playful antics and love for other cats are truly heartwarming.

The kittens are like two sides of the same coin, always looking for each other if they happen to be apart.

At Chatons Orphelins Montréal, the cats enjoy starting their mornings by snuggling in bed with their human companions and playing together with enthusiasm. These feline buddies have a strong desire for affection and will start purring as soon as they are touched. Whether it’s nap time or playtime, they prefer to be together, often found cuddled up in a cozy cat tree or curled up on top of each other in bed. Their unbreakable bond is evident in the way they are constantly by each other’s side, making every moment they share truly special.

These two little felines not only have similar appearances, but they also have matching personalities. Celestin is the more dominant one, always leading the way when it comes to food and playtime. Sirius, on the other hand, happily follows his lead without complaint.
Because of their strong bond, the rescue organization is determined to find them a forever home together. Celine, from the rescue, expressed, “The kittens are doing so well and are eager to join a loving family that will give them both the love and care they deserve.”
