She Set Out to Adopt Two Kittens, but Found Herself Rescuing Three Furry Friends

Woman Went to Adopt Two Kittens But Ended Up Rescuing Three

A woman in Connecticut originally planned to adopt two kittens but ultimately couldn’t bear to leave their remaining brother behind and ended up rescuing him as well.

After Samantha St John lost her beloved 13-year-old cat Mickey, she came across a story about a feral barn cat with a litter of kittens. The owner of the barn mentioned two inseparable kitten sisters, and Samantha knew she had to bring them home. Little did she know, there was a third kitten – a boy – in the litter. Without hesitation, she decided to adopt all three kittens because she couldn’t bear to leave any of them behind.
Looking back on the experience, Samantha shared with Love Meow, “I’m so grateful I took them all in because the mother cat abandoned them when they were only four weeks old and never returned.”

Samantha St John, a lifelong cat lover, welcomed the kittens into her home a week after they were born and showered them with affection and attention as she raised them.
“After bottle-feeding them and ensuring they received proper veterinary care for their respiratory infection, the kittens quickly bounced back to health.”

The trio had an unbreakable connection. The lone male sibling stuck close to his sisters and never strayed far from them.
The trio was inseparable, always doing activities as a unit.

Samantha St John is the proud owner of three adorable kittens. Ella and Daisy, the two white sisters, are always up to no good, with Simon, the playful black kitten, eagerly joining in on the mischief. Together, the trio wreaks havoc around the house, getting into all sorts of playful trouble.

According to Samantha St John, her pets enjoy wrestling, playing tag, and watching birds together on the sun porch. They even have a little tunnel where they like to surprise each other. At the end of the day, they snuggle up for a nap.

As Ella, Daisy, and Simon matured, their connection deepened and solidified. Samantha shared, “Now they are joyful, thriving cats. Ella, the smallest at first, is a big fan of cuddles and has a cute, high-pitched meow. Daisy is typically calm but loves to chat, while Simon is full of mischief yet incredibly affectionate.”

Samantha St John is celebrating two years since finding her perfect match, the human who united her furry companions and kept them a happy family. “Making that choice was truly the greatest thing,” Samantha shared. “My pets are adorable, sweet, and always on their best behavior. I couldn’t be prouder of them.”
