“Unlikely Friendship: Small Cat Bonds with Rescue Kitten Dwarf Companion”

5-Year Old Cat, Size of a Tiny Kitten, Bonds with Rescue Kitten Who is Also a Dwarf...

Both of them were rescued and happen to be dwarf animals. They crossed paths and discovered each other after being given a second lease on life. Allow me to introduce you to Dodo the feline and William the young kitten!

Dodo, also known as Dumplin, was born with a rare condition in cats called Hypothyroidism. Due to this, he has remained the size of a 12-14 week old kitten throughout his life.
To ensure that Dodo receives the necessary medical care he needs, Kitten Inn, a rescue organization in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, decided to adopt him and provide him with a forever home at their cat sanctuary.
Although Dodo may look like a Munchkin cat, the rescue clarified that his small stature is due to his medical condition. Despite his challenges, Dodo is a loving and affectionate cat, who enjoys cuddles and communicating with his human friends.
Susan from Kitten Inn shared, “He is the most affectionate little guy, always eager for attention and loves to snuggle. Every night, he falls asleep in my arms, purring contentedly like a little pigeon.”

Dodo is overflowing with love and has a soft spot for other kittens who require care. Celebrating his fifth birthday recently, he crossed paths with a tiny feline companion who is equally extraordinary.

When William, a 16-week-old kitten, arrived at Kitten Lodge, it was clear he was tinier than his peers. Just like Dodo, he too struggles with Hypothyroidism.
Although the small ginger feline may not be able to leap as high or sprint as fast as the others, he always gives it his all. “William is a little dwarf, not the fastest or tallest, but his charm lies in his determined spirit,” shared Kitten Lodge.

Dodo was captivated by the adorable little kitten and a unique connection was formed right away. He seemed to have a special understanding of his tiny companion, treating him like one of the family.
Affectionate Dodo cuddled with William, showing him love and purring contentedly.

Both cats are pint-sized and require extra attention.
Dodo appears to understand that the small new cat requires additional care, so he stays by his side, offering reassurance that everything will be alright.
