Two inseparable feline siblings are overjoyed to receive assistance for their little ones, ensuring they can all grow and thrive together as a family.
Willow and her little furball Rowan caught the attention of Kyndra @pnw_fosters when they arrived at Purrfect Pals Cat Sanctuary in Washington. Sisters Maple and Willow had never been apart and shared a special connection. Both cats arrived at the shelter with a litter of kittens, needing foster care.
The sisters were surrendered by a previous owner who couldn’t take care of them while they were expecting. They gave birth to a total of eight healthy babies on the same day before being transferred to Purrfect Pals. The staff at the sanctuary wasted no time and placed them in the care of a loving foster home.
Kyndra, a dedicated volunteer, welcomed Willow, Rowan, and their furry family with open arms. She was amazed by the bond between the two sisters and how they instinctively helped each other out with caring for their kittens right from the beginning.
Maple and her kitty Ivy are inseparable pals, according to Kyndra @pnw_fosters. Kyndra mentioned that the two are not only the best of friends but also incredibly caring towards each other. They have teamed up to take care of their kittens and are doing a fantastic job of looking after the little ones.
Once Kyndra set up a cozy area for the momma cats to share, Maple and Ivy wasted no time in snuggling close together. They lovingly embraced their kittens and took turns nursing the hungry little ones.
The siblings kept their kittens close, creating an adorable, close-knit group of felines. They worked together to nurture and look after their little ones. As the kittens grew and became more self-sufficient, the moms started taking more breaks together. However, they were always quick to return at the first meow from one of their babies, as Kyndra noted. The two pals love spending time together by the window, enjoying the passing of the day.
Willow and Maple are like two peas in a pod, always by each other’s side and inseparable sisters. As shared by Kyndra from @pnw_fosters, these two feline siblings are well-aware of the household schedule and eagerly await mealtime at the door. They are a perfect pair who do everything together, from grooming each other to coordinating their food demands in harmony. Watching them frolic around the room, it’s clear that they rule the roost with their playful antics. And when it comes to playtime, Willow takes the lead in showing the kittens the ropes.
Kyndra shared with Love Meow that the bond between Maple and Willow is truly unique and precious. Although Willow may be more obsessed with Maple than the other way around, their love for each other runs deep. She expressed her happiness that these sweet kitties will get to enjoy a life filled with fun and playtime, as their upcoming litters will be their last.
Kyndra from @pnw_fosters shared how the kittens have thrived thanks to the loving care provided by their foster family and the nurturing presence of Mama Maple and Willow. She mentioned that when the kittens take a break from their playful activities, she can often find six of them snuggled near her, with Ash, Oakley, and Sage frequently on her lap. Meadow, Aspen, and Ivy like to stay close by, while Juniper and Rowan are more independent and enjoy their alone time.

Maple and Willow are now enjoying playtime with a variety of toys and are embracing their kitten antics once again. Kyndra plans to have them spayed and adopted as a duo, remaining bonded as they embark on their new chapter when the time is right.
Kyndra expressed her gratitude for witnessing the inseparable bond between the sisters, knowing that they will always be by each other’s side.
