A pair of small kittens were seen wandering lost outside a residence without their mother. A kind-hearted young man picked them up and managed to get them the assistance they needed just in time.
Wilson was in the midst of moving items outside his home when he stumbled upon two motherless kittens hiding behind a shed. These kittens appeared to be in a sorry state – covered in dirt and fleas, visibly malnourished, and struggling with respiratory issues. Without any clue as to where they had come from, Wilson turned to a local Lost and Found page in search of assistance.
Upon learning about the kittens’ distressing situation, ToRescue (The Ontario Rescue) – a no-kill rescue organization based in Montclair, California – wasted no time in dispatching rescuers to the scene.
According to Taylor Purbaugh, a foster mom volunteering with the rescue, “The black kitten was so emaciated and dehydrated that our vet warned us he might not have survived the night if we hadn’t intervened when we did.” Thankfully, timely action saved the little one’s life. Throughout the journey to safety, his Siamese sibling provided comfort and support, staying by his side like a devoted cheerleader.
Taylor Purbaugh, also known as @taysfosterkittens_, shared the story of a kitten who was in a very weak state. The poor little one couldn’t even open his eyes due to an infection, making it difficult for him to stand up. After a visit to the vet, his eyes were cleaned and he could finally see again.
“I was worried if he would even survive the journey to our rescue. He was so lethargic, just lying on his side. As soon as we got him back, we started him on IV fluids, antibiotics, and eye medicine. Thankfully, after a few hours, he started to show signs of improvement,” Taylor recounted to Love Meow.

“When we found this baby in the morning, he couldn’t even open his eyes due to a severe URI. His eyes were completely sealed shut. But just look at him now!”
Taylor Purbaugh, also known as @taysfosterkittens_, is amazed at the transformation that can happen in just a few hours! The tiny Siamese kitten is thriving, happily playing and sprinting around the playpen.
